Fulham striker, Aleksandar Mitrovic believes that the Eagles of Serbia can achieve spectacular results at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Serbia qualified for Qatar 2022 by topping their qualifying group with 20 points from eight games.
The group consisted of Portugal, Ireland, Luxembourg, Azerbaijan and Serbia.
In an interview with fifa.com Mitrovic expressed optimism ahead of the Mundial in Qatar.
“We don’t need a lot of time to start playing together as a team and it’s critical in a national team for the players to know how everyone plays and thinks,” Mitrovic said.

“Many of our players have really grown up together. We know each other very well.
“The best is yet to come. We’re in our prime. We all hope we’ll be in good form to experience the exciting times ahead of us… We’re sure we can achieve some really spectacular results.”
Mitrovic has scored 50 goals in 75 appearances for Serbia. He has scored nine goals in 11 Premier League matches this season.
