Lookman was unable to participate in Atalanta’s friendly against Ligue 1 club OGC last week owing to illness.
After returning to training, the 25-year-old is in contention to play for La Dea in Friday’s friendly against Real Betis.
Next week, Atalanta will play another friendly against Eredivisie team AZ Alkmaar.
This season, Lookman has had a significant impact for Gian Piero Gasperini’s team.
In 15 league games for Atalanta, the Nigeria international has seven goals and two assists.
He only joined Atalanta in the summer after leaving Bundesliga team RB Leipzig.
