According to talkSPORT (via Fichajes), Liverpool has cooled their interest in transfer target Jude Bellingham as their attention has shifted to signing Matheus Nunes from Wolves.
The Reds have fallen behind in their pursuit of the English midfielder and could look at alternatives to bolster their midfield in the summer.
With multiple midfielders set to be offloaded from Liverpool’s midfield, Nunes could occupy the spots left by the multiple departures.
The report further suggests that the Portuguese midfielder is a cheaper alternative to the Borussia Dortmund midfielder as Nunes would cost somewhere around €60m.
