Garcia, the CEO of Al Nassr, has stated that he wishes to coach Ronaldo.

Rudi Garcia, the manager of Al Nassr, has voiced his delight at the idea of bringing Cristiano Ronaldo to the club.

Ronaldo is a free agent after leaving Manchester United last month by mutual consent.

The captain of Portugal has been linked with a move to Al Nassr.

Al Hilal, a Saudi Arabia Professional League club, is also said to be interested in the forward.

“I think any coach would be thrilled to teach a great talent like Cristiano, and I was very close to joining United in November 2021,” Garcia said in an interview with Diario AS.

“They chose Ralf Rangnick, but I met twice with John Murtough and Darren Fletcher [United’s director of football and technical director respectively].

“I came very close to coaching this club and was very motivated to go, who wouldn’t be motivated to coach United? Any coach. United’s simple interest has allowed me to be sure of my ambitions in the future.

” I have always thought that the great players are the easiest to manage because they are very intelligent, I verified this with Francesco Totti at Roma.”
