GOVERNOR UBA SANI CELEBRATES FIRST LADY OLUREMI TINUBU AT 66, COMMENDS HER FAITH, COMPASSION AND SERVICE TO HUMANITY
On behalf of the Government and people of Kaduna State, I extend felicitations to the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, OON, on the auspicious occasion of her 66th birthday.
This milestone celebrates a woman whose life has been distinguished by faith, courage, public service and compassion for humanity. Through the years, Her Excellency has remained a dependable pillar of strength to her husband, His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, as he steers the ship of state through the waters of national renewal.
The President’s testimony in his personal tribute to the First Lady that: “the burdens that were mine to bear often found their way onto your shoulders” and that “the thoughts I could not put into words somehow found their way to you” reveals a partnership sustained by uncommon understanding, sacrifice and shared purpose. In every season, the First Lady has stood beside Mr President with dignity, fortitude and prayerful devotion, offering the quiet strength that consequential leadership so often requires.
Beyond her exemplary role within the First Family, I can attest to the fact that Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu is a compassionate mother and a detribalised Nigerian whose concern for others rises above religion, ethnicity, geography and social station. Her long record of service: from Lagos State to the Senate and now as First Lady, reflects a consistent commitment to the dignity and advancement of the Nigerian people.
Through the Renewed Hope Initiative, she has translated compassion into humane and inclusive interventions in education, healthcare, agriculture, social welfare, and the empowerment of women and young people. These initiatives resonate beyond policy: they touch lives, restore dignity and rekindle hope among vulnerable Nigerians across our country.
On this joyful occasion, I salute Her Excellency’s grace, patriotism and steadfast devotion to nation-building. I pray that Almighty God grants her many more years in excellent health, abiding peace, renewed strength and fulfilment. May He continue to preserve her as a source of wisdom and support to Mr President, a blessing to her family and an enduring light of hope to our nation.
